Financial Education

Financial Resilience Toolkit is composed of two elements: Materials to educate trainers, employment coaches, social workers etc. as well as Self-educational materials for Ukrainian refugees. Trainers will deliver the course materials and facilitation, adapting examples, case studies, and legal references to each host country’s context. They will play a key role in building participants’ confidence, providing personalised guidance, and fostering community support networks.

The training is designed to strengthen participants' financial resilience by enhancing both knowledge and practical skills.

The training consists of five structured modules, each addressing critical aspects of financial resilience such as Practical Financial Skills, Budgeting and Expense Tracking; Savings Strategies and Goal Setting, Basics of Investing; Consumer Rights and Financial Protection; Financial Resilience and Decision-Making as well as Country-Specific Module, with content reflecting national systems and practices of project partners. Modules are interactive and adaptable to participant needs.

Employment Sustainability

The Employment Sustainability Toolkit provides practical support for coaches, trainers, and organisations working with Ukrainian refugees. It consists of seven structured training modules covering essential topics such as communication at work, workplace norms, labour law, employment rights, and long-term motivation. Each module includes concrete tools, self-study materials, and step-by-step guidance for participatory delivery. Additionally, the toolkit offers country-specific materials that reflect local employment systems, including procedures, services, and institutional pathways relevant to refugees.

The aim is not only to prepare participants for the job market but to ensure long-term employment retention, personal stability, and smoother cooperation between employees, employers, and public institutions. The methodology draws from years of field experience and is grounded in cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed care, and holistic support. The toolkit helps build confidence, increase resilience, and promote equal access to dignified work. It will be piloted in three countries and refined based on direct feedback from participants and practitioners.
