About IMMERSED
The IMMERSED project is dedicated to empowering Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Slovakia, and Romania by fostering lasting employment, financial independence, and meaningful community participation. By combining innovative training, psychological support, and community-based initiatives, the project addresses both the professional and personal needs of refugees.
IMMERSED brings together partners from public, private, academic, and civil society sectors in a dynamic Quadruple Helix partnership to create a comprehensive support model that can be adapted across different local contexts.

The Training of Trainers’ Manual supports frontline workers with tools to build resilience and deliver psychosocial support to Ukrainian refugees.
The Self-Educational Toolkit offers refugees in Poland, Romania, and Slovakia self-guided strategies for the emotional well-being balance during job search and recruitment of Ukrainian refugees.
The Booklet for Employers equips HR professionals with practical guidance to support refugee employment, highlighting the mutual benefits of inclusive hiring and the value of diversity in the workplace.

Financial Resilience Toolkit is designed for Ukrainian refugees as well as for trainers, job counselors, social workers, and community stakeholders who support their financial inclusion and resilience. It aims to strengthen both the financial capabilities (such as budgeting, saving, and debt management) and practical skills (such as navigating local financial systems and consumer rights) essential for economic independence and stability in host countries.

The Employment Sustainability Toolkit equips coaches, trainers, and social workers to support Ukrainian refugees throughout the employment process – from job readiness to long-term workplace stability. It offers ready-to-use training modules on topics like labour rights, motivation, communication, and conflict resolution. The toolkit is grounded in cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care, and is designed to promote not only job access, but sustainable employment, inclusion, and mutual trust between beneficiaries, employers, and public institutions.
